I am Lacey, a portrait photographer located in Southeastern Ohio. I have been practicing photography for over 4 years now. I have always been a picture taking fool, but it wasn't until 2017 that I took the plunge into it more seriously. Not only does it bring me an innumerous amount of joy, I also LOVE seeing the joy on others' faces when they see the frozen moments of themselves and their loved ones. That is my WHY.
Cameron is my high school sweetheart, as well as my best friend and #1 fan. He has always supported me in every way possible and has pushed me to follow my dreams. We have 3 beautiful kiddos, Owen (4), Riley (2), and Zealan (0) a little hobby farm: 2 dogs, 1 cat, ducks, cows, goats and 4 aquariums full of aquatic life. Oh, and we have a bit of a plant obsession. We have over 100 houseplants and love outdoor plant life as well! We are hoping to construct a greenhouse on the farm to help us contain that hobby.
The primary genre of photography I specialize in is portrait because, like I said, I live to bring joy to others by giving them their frozen moments. It is the most rewarding career I could ever hope to succeed in. Although, you will sometimes see other types of photography from me as well. My style is usually very natural and vibrant. I love to capitalize on the moments, the pure, raw moments. Keeping them natural and bringing out all of the beauty in them is what I feel my job is, so that is what I do!
